it will sound like a fart can civic w/o the cat. Not cool for a 6 owner. Dont think it would cause suck a noteworthy addition/subrraction of power/torque.

how about replace it with flexible pipe from the header to the cat . and making holes for the sensors .

A flex pipe won't do anything to make it less quiet. You need a restriction there to absorb sound frequencies, otherwise, get some ear plugs.

Seriously...check out my exhaust video in my signature, lol.

Mine is 2.0 , I installed " MagnaFlow " but the sound is little louder
after repleace the header with custom header the sound became better than before
and the injen cia made it better (2.3 Injen CAI fit 2.0 without problems) (I have 2.3 Injen CAI)

now looking for "GT SPEC Header"
and also thinking to modify the gearbox because 4SP
Q- if i want my 4sp ATX become 5 sp ATX , what things i have repleace it ?

I can't drive with 4 sp .

i've read about modfing the transmission on arabic forum : someone said that he had a maxima , the gear broke .Then , he
searched for same gear but he did't find. he found altima's gear same size but it has "the edges of gear"" i don't now what you called it"
more than maxima's has . the speed increased . before, 4 RPM=may be 160 km . after , 4 RPM = about 180 km
I believe that, there are some things can modify the auto .
I know this is out of our subject . but i am very interested about modifing the gear .

I don't know where you live or what your emissions restrictions are, but removing the Catalytic Converter will make your car fail any emissions tests it might have to pass.

Just a thought, and while it won't do much to increase power it will make the car louder, and most 4 cyl. motors sound like crap without the Cat.

For example you Cant past the revisions ITV (Spain) without Catalytic Converter. Also the police have some detector of emisions, the put in the end on the muffler to measures the emissions.
Here in Panama you can remove without problem (but more contaminations).
You get a CEL is you remove the Catalyzer?
