Do you have a 2.0?
with the INJEN CAI around 5hp in the 2.0 (10hp with 2.3). The Magnaflow Catback, around 8hp, with a header around 5-10hp.

i'll trust scorpion, since we don't get the 2.0 up here. but in general, a stock dyno with the atx 2.0 is around 118hp, and i'd guess you are somewhere in the mid to high 130's with your setup.

and sorry, the tranny cooloer won't do anything for you in regards to performance.

I am not sure if he has the Automatic or manual.
2003 came from stock with 141hp but in ATX you loose some more Hp than manual
Actually they come with 147hp.

i've seen 2 atx 2.0's (actually, both were mazda3's though) on the dyno, one at 118whp and other at 119whp....so that's what i was refering to. i dyno'd at 128whp on my stock 160hp car, so that's about right.

and if he has the tranny cooler, he has to be atx....so that's why it's all i refered to.

it's hard to compete against hondas that you don't know....cause you can do anything to them. so i wouldnt' plan on being faster than the guy, but maybe you can keep up?

You have the stock wheels? You can go for a lighter rims and tires. Stock rims/tire weight around 43 lbs (19,5 kgs) you can easily reduce the rotacional weight with a lighter set.
