Just about to install an aftermarket inter cooler and have noticed two separate wiring plugs for sensors or solenoids does any one know what they are or if they are needed ?

I had an accident a few week ago, i hit a dog on the intercooler side of the car ruining the intercooler and the sensors. The engine light came on and car was running as if it hadn't a turbo - it gone in safe mode or limp mode i think it's called. So i think those sensors are preaty important.
