I have just had my car returned by the garage saying for the umpteenth time they cannot make the engine cut out which it is doing frequently at all engine temperatures.I had the foresight to record my mileage on leaving the car with them and as it had travelled only one mile in the two days they had the car it is not surprising they could not replicate the fault!
However they have had a car with the same fault and say that they changed the crank sensor on that vehicle which cured the problem(allegedly-Idon't believe anything they say any more)
Anyone know what a crank sensor is?
